Consortia work to reduce barriers to careIncrease quantity of providers;
Educate consumers regarding the Ryan White Part B Program;
Seek out alternative transportation options;
Work with Regional AIDS Education and Training Centers to educate medical professionals.
Consortia work to reduce duplication of servicesCollaboration with all Ryan White service providers in the Consortia Region;
Collaboration with Case Management Agencies in the Consortia Region;
Collaboration with other providers of HIV related medical or support services.
Consortia set spending priorities and allocations for a portion of the Emergency Financial Assistance Funds set aside for the area.
